Akufo-Ado lands in Savannah region a 2-day visit

President akufo-Addo and Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor II

On Sunday, 11th July 2021, President Akufo-Ado commenced a 2-day working visit of the Savannah region, with visits to Damongo and Buipe.

Amongst others, the President paid a courtesy call on the Yagbonwura, Tutumba Boresa Sulemana Jakpa; inspected ongoing work on the construction of a 3-storey administrative block for the Savannah Regional Co-ordinating Council, which is 70% complete.

He also paid a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of the Buipe Traditional area, Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor II and commissioned the 85-bed Central Gonja District Hospital, whose construction started in 2018.
