COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa educates female police recruits

COP Mrs. Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, Director-General/Welfare

The Seniormost Female Police Officer (FEMPOL) at the National Police Headquarters, who also doubles as the Executive President of the Police Ladies Association and presently, the Director-General/Welfare, COP Mrs. Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, has been touring and interacting with female police recruits at the various police basic training schools to educate them on policing and career issues peculiar to being female and the need for professionalism.

COP Addo-Danquah has been moving with other Female Police Officers who also sensitised the Recruits (both male and female) on a number of issues relative to their office.

These include the Director of the Police Counselling Unit, ACP Dr. Phyllis A. T. Osei; C/Supt. Mrs Fanney Aboagye, Director of the International Relations; Supt. Mrs Sheilla Kessie Abayie-Buckman, Director of Police Public Affairs and others stationed within the regions, divisions or schools visited.
