NDC to march to honour former President Rawlings

The National Democratic Party (NDC) announced that there will be a “Probity and Accountability” march to honour the memory and legacy of the Founder of the party, Jerry John Rawlings.

The party intends to revive the principles of probity and accountability which were zealously championed by the former President.

A press statement signed by the NDC General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, revealed that the march is scheduled for November 26,  2020, in Accra.

The party, therefore, is inviting all supporters, political parties, civil society organizations (CSO) and the general public to join in the celebration.

“The NDC kindly invites all its teeming supporters, political parties including the News Patriotic Party (NPP), CSO, and the general public to join in this march, which is a befitting tribute to the memory of Ghana’s foremost anti-corruption giant,” they stated.

According to the party, they believe it is very important for Ghanaians to uphold and respect the principles of probity spelled out in 1992 established by the former President.

However, in due course, the general public will be informed of the time and the march conveying point.
