Former Deputy Information Minister under former President Mahama administration and the current Parliamentary candidate for Abura-Asebu Kwamankese, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has denied the allegations of sleeping with another man’s fiancee.
A video popped up on Sunday, November 1,2020, showing the MP being confronted by people related to the man whose fiancee was caught sleeping with.
A narrator in the video, which has been named in the social media circles as “Salomey video,” was heard questioning Kwakye Ofosu over his mission in the house in the early hours at 5:00am and he fumble while he pleaded for him not to be recorded.
According to him, the said video was recorded in 2019 during the build-up to the NDC’s primaries which he was elected to represent the people of Abura-Asebu Kwamankese.
He further explained that he had bought some items which include hospital beds,1,200 pieces of cloth for the NDC primaries, which he had to keep in the said lady’s house because he did not have enough space in his residence.
“I kept the items for my primaries at the lady’s house. Some hospital beds and 1,200 pieces of cloth. I didn’t have space at my place,” Mr. Kwakye Ofosu said.
However, on that day the video was recorded, Mr. Kwakye Ofosu said he had gone to the lady’s place to pick the items before he set off to campaign in his constituency.
That was his mission where the two women and a man bumped into the house and accused him of sleeping with the woman.
“I had gone for it at dawn on my way to the constituency and the two women came there with a guy saying I had something to do with the lady.
“I had absolutely nothing to do with her.,” he added.
