GHANA POLICE GETS 105 CARS

As part of government initiative to retool the Ghana Police Service, 105 vehicles Toyota Corolla and Camry were presented the Police Administration at the Police Headquarters Operations in Accra.

The Deputy Minister of Information, Nana Dokua Asiamah-Adjei, made the presentation on behalf of government.

In her brief remarks, she said due to advancement in technology, there is always an upsurge of crime so there is the need for the Police to be given logistical support to deliver on its mandate.

She added that 95 more of the vehicles will be arriving this evening making a total of 200 vehicles for the Ghana Police service.

The Director-General /Public Affairs Directorate, who received the vehicles, stated that the vehicles will be used as expected of the Service.
