Renault has issued a recall in India for its 0.8-litre engine Kwid hatchback. The voluntary service campaign has been has been announced to address an issue with the steering system.

A notice sent to owners of the affected model asks them to schedule an appointment with the nearest Renault dealer, but does not reveal details of the model year or number of models affected.

The Kwid is available with a 54hp, 0.8-litre and a 68hp, 1.0-litre engine, though both models share the same electronic steering setup.
