The Inspector General of Police (IGP), James Oppong-Boanuh, Ashanti Regional Minister, Chief of Manso Adubia and the Amansie South District Chief Executive have commissioned a district police headquarters and station at Manso Adubia for use.
Addressing the gathering at the event, the IGP praised Nananom and the assembly for putting up a magnificent edifice for use by the Police Administration.
He used the occasion to reiterate his advise to police officers to be professional in the performance of duty.
For officers who will be working in the facility, he instructed them to maintain the facility at all times.
IGP also assured Nananom and the people of Adubia of police administration’s readiness to support the district command by providing the necessary resources for work to begin immediately.
The Regional Minister, Mr. Simon Osei Mensah, also thanked the Traditional Council and the district assembly for seeing to the completion of the project.
He reiterated IGP’s call for maintenance culture and urged officers who will work in the building to keep it clean.
Again, he called for collaboration from the community members in fighting crime and the galamsey menace.
