Samira Bawumia donates to police basic schools

The Second Lady, Mrs Samira Bawumia, has donated library books to police basic schools to encourage the children to cultivate the habit of reading.
The donation forms part of her “Library-in-the-Box project”, an initiative which endeavors to provide books to schools.

During her interaction with the pupils she said that “the world belongs to those who read” and encouraged them to ask questions about their experiences and surroundings.

Also, she hinted that more library books will be donated to the Police Schools in the cause of time.

Accompanying her, to do the donation were, Member of Parliament for Okaikwei South, Mr. Ahmed Arthur, Metropolitan Director of Education, Mr. Abanfo Stephen and their Circuit Supervisor of Ghana Education Service.
