Normalization Committee consult Nyantakyi – Osei Palmer

Winfred Osei Kweku Palmer, owner and life patron of Tema Youth FC have revealed that the Ghana Football Association Normalization Committee consult football outcast Kwesi Nyantakyi before taking any decision concerning the return of the game.

The country’s football governing body was dissolved by the government in June 2018 after airing the ‘Number 12’ video which exposed the rot in Ghana football.

Former Ghana FA boss, Kwesi Nyantakyi and several officials of the game was captured receiving bribe in the Anas documentary.

The former WAFU Zone B president was then banned for life by the world football governing body, FIFA, following a petition by the investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

But according to the former Executive Committee member, the former FIFA Executive Council member, Nyantakyi, is always approached by the Normalization Committee to seek for information regarding the repatriation of football in the country.

“It would be a surprise to sideline Kwesi Nyantakyi who raised up to FIFA level after becoming the FA President for close to fifteen years,” Winfred Osei told Kickgh.com.

“I can say on authority that the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Normalization Committee consult Kwesi Nyantakyi on some of the issues,” he disclosed.

The Ghana FA Normalization Committee have named six ad-hoc committees to aid steer their mandate.
