The Founder and President of Concerned Voters’ Movement (CVM), Razak Kojo Opoku, says former President John Mahama has wrongly accused God for “his bad deeds” which caused his unprecedented defeat in the 2016 general elections.
According to him, the humiliating electoral defeat the former President and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) suffered in the 2016 general elections was largely based on the performance of the former President’s performance.
“John Mahama, respectfully did God ever ordered you to inflicts Ghanaians with Dumsor for 5 years thereby collapsing thousands of businesses across the country. Pay Woyome a whopping sum of GHC 51 million and award bedroom affairs and sweetheart contract to Selase Ibrahim at the whopping cost of GHC 3.9 million for bus branding,” he quizzed.
The CVM Leader said God did not order former President Mahama to cancel teacher trainees allowance, cancel nursing trainees allowance, describe himself as dead goat to Ghanaians, make his wife Lordina Mahama as the shadow Vice-President and 2016 Vice Presidential candidate.
According to him, God did not order former President Mahama to impose on Ghanaians killer taxes, create alarming rate of unemployment in the country, give the country’s lands and natural resources to foreigners for illegal mining thereby destroying our water bodies and described Ashantis including their King as ungrateful beings.
Mr. Kojo Opoku asked the former President if God ordered him to received Ford Expedition bribe, his appointees to insult and ridicule pastors, chiefs and opinion leaders in the country, or have late Prof. Mills Killed without State investigation into his death and have a collapsed NHIS.
He further wondered if God ordered Asiedu Nketia to described the party’s Founder, Jerry John Rawlings as a barking dog, or he mismanaged the economy and introduced and practiced corruption, thievery of resources, create, loot and share schemes in Ghana.
